The
story begins with Tim searching for his parents in a world that is not quite
real.
His
world exists just at the edge of our world
as
Tim finds out on his
journey through UNREALLAND.
Tim's journey takes him to a small village called Bentville.
Most of the people who live there are related to Tim.
His full name is Tim Edly Bent.
Tim is looking for his mother and father who just may have slipped off the edge.
Tim had heard that they were living around the area but had retreated to that area that is decidedly slippery.
Tim skated up the main street that had a tinge of purple to it. It was midday and there were many people around. To his right he saw the phone booths where there was a shaved head dude with a tattoo on his skull, phoning someone. Tim wondered if in fact there was a phone at his parents house. Would the shaved head dude know the number?
He heard the bass beat of familiar music coming from one of the shops to his left. The front had a dragon painted on it in bright orange, red and white and appeared to be selling everything from brightly coloured clothing to bongs. He figured someone there would know about his parents.
As he reached the footpath and the beat got louder and louder he was approached by a group of young guys with skateboards who wanted to talk to him.
"You look bent " they said.
"Yea hi....." he said to the sort of familiar faces
" my name is Tim Bent. How did you know?"
" I could tell by the way your face looks ..... all sort of altered" said the most friendly one who had the longest dreadlocks and the biggest smile.
"I'm looking for my parents " said Tim " they are supposed to be living around here somewhere close to the edge."
"Their names are Hyper and Mega Bent. Have you heard of them?" said Tim hopefully.
"There are a lot of Bent families around here" says one of the others who has the most used skateboard." why don't you come up the the Museum and see if there are pictures".
Actually we're all Bent" said the dreadlock..
"I'm Hell Bent and this is my friend Dick Bent ".
Just up the road a little Tim and his new friends entered a small shop labelled "The Museum" which was chock a block full of odds and ends of things that had belonged to the pioneers of Bentville. Tim's eyes were dashing all over the place . He was looking for a picture .There were primitive bongs and pipes, pictures of previous Mull crops, an old VW kombi van painted in Psychedelic colours and an old guy with a very long beard in the corner. Finally he spotted a photo that looked like it was Hyper and Mega selling food at the first Bentville Community Markets. The old guy with the grey beard approached Tim and said.....
"If you are looking for these people you have to take the left fork at the big tree at the end of the Purple road and follow it till you come nearly to the edge. But watch out . The edge is slippery and many Bents have lost their way and fallen off."
They headed for Bent Rock...........
The road had been boonz
with crazy oververt trannies and long ledges.
Hell Bent turned out to be
a better skater than Dick and Tim.
By the time they reached
Bent Rock the sun was glowing gold and the day was just perfect.
I'm right out " says
Tim
"they don't call this
Bent rock for nothing " says Hell , "race up to the cave Dick
and get enough for the rest of the trip."
Dick heads off into the
lush green of the palm trees and ferns sending the wallabies scattering and
clambers up the giant rocks until he comes to a cave that looks like someone's
face. It seems miles up to the top but champion Dick has already reached the
cave ,done what he needed to and slid down to the bottom .
"Dick is famous"
bragged Hell " He went amazingly well in the local Olympics. First in joint rolling and a second in Growers iron man
and was just as quick as anyone at getting through the Lantana with a bag of
fertiliser and a bucket of water.
They all sit down for a
quick bong and Dick proceeds to tell all about the car he saw from the top of
the rock.
"its just up the
road" Dick tells them " can you drive Tim?"
"can a kookaburra
laugh?" jokes Tim "of course I can. Lets check it out"
The sleek lines of the
bright yellow lowered Datsun 1600 were just too much for the three
of them as they rounded the corner and came upon the abandoned car.
This'll be easy " says Tim as he slides into the Recaro drivers seat and reaches under the dash to find the fuse box.
Vrrrrrrrooooom. the car
jumps to life.
Hell and Dick are
incredibly impressed and throw their boards in the back and scream........
NEXT STOP ....... BENT MOUNTAIN
The chrome wide wheels lay rubber half way up the
mountain .
The
top of the mountain is spectacular and misty.
The
Datto coughs and spits as it runs out of petrol.
Tim
pulls off to the side of the road and does a handbrake skid stop that
pulls them up at a lookout with a view of the forests of Bent
Mountain.
"Am I tripping or is the edge always so freaky?" says Tim as he looks
off to the very green valleys.
"How mad will the skate down the path be? "dreams Hell as he surveys
the paved path down to Boomerang Creek.
Tim
checked the path out and said "Man this path is wak I bet I split my shin
open when I go down?
I'm
fairly sure your parents live down there by the creek " says Dick "
but be careful, this close to the edge is complicated and needs lots of
concentration."
"there seems to be areas of altered
vision down there "
The creek was a good half hour journey from the top.Hell was the first to reach it. He had put his dreads into a rainbow coloured cap so as not to catch them in any overhanging branches. Dick had a hard slap and was blairly badly from his head. He'd tried a fourteen stair handrail and got hooked up.. Tim had been very cautious as he had been told of the slippery dangerous edge. But he still did flip tricks and and shitloads of grinds on the edge. He wondered how much more complicated things would get. |
"Look over there"
said Tim, " It looks like people sitting in the creek"
"Fuck ...I don't think they've got any swimmers on "
says Tim in shock
The blue and green of the
thick bush was overpowering for Tim and he decides he needs to sit down on a
rock nearby to the creek. The edge must be close he feels.
Hell gets out a bong, packs
it, sits down with Dick next to Tim.
Dick is dazed and bleeding
from the slaps he had endured but gratefully accepts the smoking Bong as it's
handed to him.
Tim is still confused by
the scene and on closer inspection sees that there are no children but only
nude adults enjoying Nature in the creek. Some are old and wrinkled but the
majority are parent age and have huge smiles and are staring back at Tim.
"You must be Tim Bent
" said the nude lady with beaded hair.
"Hyper and Mega were
waiting for you , waiting for ages, waiting for you to grow up and get here and
help" said the Buddha looking guy with the long brown hair.
"you just didn't get
here in time to help them" he said "They've slipped off the edge and
gone different ways"
"Mega went to
Sufferers Paradise and Hypa went to Straightville to try and find you so he
could teach you about the confusion near the edge."
The stream seemed to
digitise around the group of light skinned people and Tim started to spin out.
The afternoon light was
playing tricks on his eyes and altering and confusing his thoughts.
Was he hearing right? Was
there more he needed to know about the slippery edge?
"Fuck this, I'm out of
here....... you wanna come to Sufferers with me ", Tim says to Hell and
Dick.
"Not bloody likely
", yells Hell "We're as Bent as they come and we're staying
here"
"just follow the creek
down away from the mountain till you reach a village where
there will be a huge Full Moon Market Day and you'll find your way from
there." Dick advises.........
Tim
is 17 , alone and tired after an unusual trip through nearby Bentville county
with cousins Hell and Dick Bent.
Tim
finally arrives in Sufferer's Paradise to see the sunrise over the Pacific
Ocean.
He
is looking for his mother, Mega Bent.
His
father Hyper Bent has gone to Straightville.
She
must be somewhere here , thinks Tim , as he skates up and down the concrete
valleys of condos and shops.
Grind grind, skate, skate.......................................................
The
rays of the early morning sun shine on the last of the nightclub goers
as they leave the dark insides of the buildings and stumble out to make their
way home . Tim sees someone familiar and goes over to the dude in neat clothing
and has a close look .
The
dude looks Bent but Tim has to ask him.......
Hi
man...... are you Bent? says Tim timidly.
Of
course I am . How did you know?
I'm
P.C. 1st class Bent..... says the dude in dark clothing.
You
look familiar " says PC.
Yeah
I'm Tim Edly Bent..... must be your cousin..... I'm looking for my mother .
Have you seen her?
'I
hope that's not a beer in your hand '.... says PC ....' I'm an undercover alcohol cop. and you look
underage.'
'Wanna
buy some dope'...PC says from the other side of his mouth.
Shit
no ... this place is freaky enough without buying dope from a cop.....
says Tim .
If
you're looking for Mega Bent then you've come to the right place. She
lives close by to here , somewhere near the edge and let me tell you the edge
is very steep here and extremely slippery, so keep an extra keen eye out for
things that might trip you up.
A
born again Christian dude spots Tim as he comes near to
the Bus Station.
"Jesus
saves " is the distorted sound as Tim passes by on his skateboard and then
comes to a screaming halt.
"maybe
this dude knows my mother" .... thinks Tim as he approaches.
He's wearing a tie and
carries a black book that is old and
well
used.
He
has a smile as wide as his face and Tim can't help but feel at ease.
Obviously
not from the Bent family the young 20 somethinger introduces himself to
Tim......
"Hi
, I'm Jesus F. Reak" and embraces Tim like a long lost cousin.
"Wow
Jesus , what pills are you on" says a startled Tim, who takes a step
backwards to take in the full Bus Station scene.
Backpackers
have just started to pour out of a newly arrived bus and foreign languages that
Tim has never heard before fills the air. Surfies with their boards in bags and
families with suitcases head for Taxis. The traffic on the street roars past
and the siren of a fire engine or an ambulance starts up in the
background....... The heat and the bus exhaust fumes start to spin out Tim .
"are
you OK now " says the still smiling face ......
Tim
shakes his head and starts to realise where he is. He is in a room above the
Bus station where he was taken by Jesus after he passed out. His skateboard is
next to him and other smiling people are standing around looking worried.
"just
rest here Tim ....you look totally worn out....... are you searching for
something? .... says another person.
She
is a thin Japanese youth looking like something out of an Akira story. Her bleached blond hair is neatly
cut with a spike coming out from under her cap going across her forehead. She
has earphones from her MP3 player and her T shirt says something in strange
writing.
'I
was also lost and looking for where I should be. My journey took me from Tokyo' she says....
The
Japanese girl then tells Tim the story of how she came to Sufferers Paradise on
a holiday to surf and learn English and had stepped too close to the edge and
had disappeared. Endless Summer days of skating the spots and waxing up and
surfing the waves followed by wasted nights of bongs and parties had taken its
toll and when her money ran out so did her friends.........
She
talks about her hometown where there is a huge snow covered mountain and a
small village where she had grown up.
The
edge was far from this place....................
She had taken an amazing journey that led her through Tokyo
...........
Past the
24/7
of
shops
people
noise
cars
subways
trains............
Finally
reaching the golden shores of Sufferers only to disappear .......and be found
again by Jesus F. Reak
"You've
been here a long time" says Tim to the Japanese girl " have you seen
my mother, she lives around here somewhere. Her name is Mega Bent."
"I
know her, she is very kind and has let me sleep at her apartment when I was
broke." says the Japanese girl, " But she is never there."
"you
can check, but she is either working long hours or she is at the Casino wasting
time and money on the pokies"
Tim
knocked on her door for days on end, but no one was ever home.................
TIM
GOES TO
THE BIGGER SMOKE
Tim is now 18 and full of energy and hormones.
He grabs his skateboard and screams off to the Bus station. The studs
put into the front steps of the marble and glass skyscrapers are not going to
stop him skating as he slides along from step to step and then down a handrail
and off a plant box and out on to the main road where the crossing light is
turning from green to red. He slams into the side of a Red convertible that is
laying rubber as it speeds off from the traffic lights. The dude in the convertible
doesn’t even look back and flashes off. Tim, only slightly shaken, picks
himself up, grabs his board from the gutter and sits down on the steps outside
the 7/11.
"Are you OK" says a tiny little voice.
" I think so" says Tim, "How’s my board. I just bought it
from DarkSide"
Tim, still a little fuzzy, looks up to see what appears to be an Angel
looking at him with a very worried face. She starts to wipe his face clean of
the gutter rubbish. The cigarette butt on his cheek and the beer bottle top
squashed into the top of his head.
‘That was a near death experience’ says the blue eyed, Angel looking,
young girl.
‘Thanks for the help but I’m in a hurry to get to the Bus Station’ says
Tim as his eyes focus in on his helper.
"So am I, can you show me the way" . says the Good Samaritan.
The two of them find their eyes locked together. A feeling of goodness
rushes over both of them. A feeling that Tim doesn’t want to go away.
‘What’s your name’ says Tim.
She hesitates for a second.
‘Can I call you Angie?’ Asks Tim after remembering how much she looked
like an Angel when he first focused in on her.
‘Let’s get going to the Bus Station .’
‘The Bus is leaving now.’ Says Tim as he picks himself up and grabs
Angie’s little backpack. They both head off.
Tim can’t even remember the slap into the car but Angie holds his arm
just in case.
The bus trip seems to take forever, but after 16 hours the two have
really gotten to know each other and become so close that they can’t be parted.
Angie tells Tim of the hard times she was having with her parents.
How she had to run away to find her own life.
‘I’m 17 nearly 18’ says Angie, when she really means 16 nearly 17.
"My Parents were so strict. They belonged to some religious sect"
"I’ve never been allowed near the ‘Edge’" she says,
desperately wanting to know Tim’s world.
"you’re lucky you have parents" says Tim "mine have left
me and I’ve been searching for them for so long and they live near the ‘Edge’
which just makes it so difficult to find them,"
"But don’t worry Angie , I’ll look after you. Stay with me and
we’ll see the ‘Edge’ for sure."
"We’re going to stay with Uncle Why-am-eye Bent."
"Whyameye is a mad scientist type that makes computer music. If dad
is around Uncle will know where to look.
The bus comes over the mountain to a view of the City just in front of
them. In the distance is a range of mountains that are snow capped.
There seems to be a whole wide valley of suburbs and in the centre is a
mountain with a ‘state of the art’ tower right on the top. Just next to the
mountain is a lake and the city centre and Tim is sure he got a glimpse of a
Skate board park. Maybe a couple or three or four.
A sign flashes past the bus.
"Welcome to the Bigger Smoke of Straightville, the Skateboard
Capital of Unrealland."
The bus station was busy with people coming and going. Just outside are
a few buskers playing guitar and singing. Taxi drivers are waiting in a queue.
Some are smoking while they wait and others are loading luggage into the boot.
Tim and Angie go to cross the road to the local buses but are approached by a
Dude who has been washing windows of cars at the traffic lights.
"hi guys" says the window washing dude " wanna score some
weed".
Angie straight away says "no"
Tim looks at the dude and says "you look familiar , are you
Bent"
"Oh sure, I’m ‘Ken Bent"
"You must be a cousin of mine. I’m Tim Bent and I’m looking for my
Dad, Hypa Bent." Says Tim, half hoping that ‘Ken will know where to find
him.
"Your Dad’s looking for you. Go to Uncle Whyameye’s house",
says Ken happily "and give him this weed from me, willya"
Uncle Whyameye lives in the suburbs just a short bus trip away from the
centre of town. The house is small and is covered at the front by a wall of
trees and shrubs that hide it from the street. Tim and Angie have walked a fair
way with all the gear they brought with them and of course,Tim’s skateboard.
They come up to the front door and before they knock they listen to the weird
electronic music that is coming from inside.
Knock knock …….
It takes a lot of knocking but eventually the music stops and the door
opens.
"Hi Uncle Whyameye.
Do you still remember me.
Its Tim. Tim Ed Lee Bent "
The face at the door has short red hair and is unshaven and the light
seems to be hurting his eyes.
He has a cigarette in one hand and a glass of red wine in the other.
"Tim" he says " Come in. Your Father has been looking for
you."
Tim feels good to find he is close to his father, but cant help but feel
that the ‘Edge’ is close at this house.
"This is Angie. She has come with me on the journey to find my
Father. Is it all right if she comes in?"
" As long as you don’t get me into trouble, you two"
" I’ve got enough problems of my own without having to look after
someone else."
"I’ll explain later". says the slightly nervous, cigarette
puffing, 'alko' looking Uncle.
They enter the dark house to see computer gear everwhere. Keyboards,
guitars, sheet music, music stands, computer discs, recorders and monitors.
There are dirty plates and old cups and ash trays full of foul smelling cigarette buts.
There is a bottle on the floor next to his desk that has what looks to be piss
in it. A cardboard carton of wine is on the workbench and there is the ever
present smell of freshly smoked grass.
"Your father is around town somewhere, but I’m not sure when he
will be back." Says Why.
" I tell you what. Why don’t you stay in the cottage in the back
yard until you are settled. It’s small but cosy and you can be by yourself and
out of my hair while I finish this piece of music I’m composing"
" But don’t you get me into trouble" says a trembling Why.
"Does your mother know where you are, Angie. You don’t look old
enough to be living with a young man."
"Tim ," says Why with a shaking finger pointing at them "
you make sure you don’t make any babies. You two take care of each other."
Young Angie sort of blushes and giggles and says in an ever so quiet
voice….
" I promise I won’t be any trouble"
"I just want to be with Tim and help him find his Father. My mother
doesn’t want to know where I am. She chucked me out".
Whyameye grumbles and shows them the door to the back yard.
"make yourself at home" were the parting words.
Tim and Angie enter the back yard.
They see a huge vegie garden in one corner and in front of this is a
rose garden blooming in all colours. A path lined by poppies of yellow, orange,
red and white leads the way to the cottage. It is overgrown with pink Jasmine.
The front door is unlocked and they enter to see the walls covered in
Indian beaded and mirrored tapestries. The stained glass windows let in a
beautiful coloured late afternoon light. In the corner is a huge king size bed
with a fluffy feather doona.
"This is just beautiful" says Angie.
The two of them fall onto the bed and cuddle each other.
They stay that way all night in a blissful loving way.
They have no idea how close to the ‘Edge’ they are going.
Daybreak and Tim goes inside to make a coffee and finds Uncle Why still
working at his computer. A nearby bong is still smoking and the house is full
of cigarette smoke.
" I’m nearly finished this piece" says Why " and then I
can get it to my record producer"
" can I hear it? " says Tim "do you want a coffee?"
"yeh" says Why as he fiddles with some buttons and then starts
the track and turns up the volume.
The track finishes and Tim hands over the coffee and the bag of weed
from ‘Ken.
"That music sounds like Mother Earth crying " Says Tim.
"don’t you ever do anything with a 120 beat, you know the stuff
they play at Raves"
Whyameye fingers the bag of weed and says " this bloody
Straightville Hydroponic shit is too strong and has sent me mental. I think I’m
skitzo
or something. Sometimes I just change moods for no reason and go into sad mode."
"Maybe I shouldn’t drink wine and smoke weed at the same time"
Whyameye mumbles as he sits back to enjoy his coffee and cigarette.
Angie is still sleeping peacefully and Tim decides he should check out
the skate board park down by the Lake.
As he is walking down the street he spots a BMX in someone’s front yard
and jumps on
. Its one of those trick bikes with pegs on the front and is chrome and black.
He figures he will be back before anyone notices. The bike path leads him
easily to the Skate board park with only a few near misses as he goes like a
bullet through the tunnels. The Magpies are swooping, but are unable to make
him crash into the bushes.
After hours of working out the best way to approach these new ramps and
donuts, Tim finally sits down for a break and a smoke.
But then he spots a poster for a Rave Party out at Back Creek in an old
Shearing Shed. There’s going to be lots of DJs and it will be going all night.
It’s next month on the full moon.
Tim thinks " This is Uncle Gunna’s farm."
"Gunna B. Bent will know where Dad is."
"maybe Dad will be there"
"But how will I get there?"
Its too far to skate, I don’t have a car licence, Whyameye doesn’t have
a car or a licence, Buses don’t go there, but maybe if I can get to the turnoff
there will be others going there and I can bum a lift.
Tim goes back home to the loveshack to see Angie and think about how he
will get to see his father at Back creek. Angie is nearly awake and whispers
nice things in Tim’s ear. She says that there will be a way and "may theForce be with you."
Tim is not able to sit still while he is thinking about a way to get to
Back Creek.
He wanders out into the garden and sits down amongst the herbs. He looks
around and sees garden tools, the cat, the paving, the BBQ, the birds, and the
giant tree that is about 30 metres high. Under the tree in the corner is a
toolshed. Tim feels he should check it out.
The shed is covered in cobwebs but is not locked and Tim looks inside.
Its quite dark, but Tim can see lots of junk in boxes and a table with tools
and oil containers and books. To one side is a pile covered with a blue tarp.
He carefully pulls the Tarp off. Huntsman spiders run everywhere.
Underneath is a motor bike. An old one.
"It’s a BSA Bantam" thinks Tim aloud. " Its old. Its
about 50 years old"
" This must be my Dad’s"
" he was always fixing old bikes and teaching me"
" I’m getting this bike going. This is how we get to Back
Creek"
Tim cleans off the spiders and hoses down the bike. It has an old beep
beep rubber ball type horn and a seat built for two that is covered in fox fur.
Some petrol from the servo and a mix of oil into the tank is about all
Tim knows how to do.
He does the big clutch start down the hill and the bike roars into life.
It feels like it will make it to Back Creek.
As he comes back into the driveway he sees Angie waiting for him with a
big smile.
"This is how we get there" says Tim "will you come with
me to the party"
"my Dad will be there for sure ."
" I’d love to" says Angie " I’ve never done anything like
this before"
By the time they have found helmets and riding gear and a
fake motor
bike licence ID it‘s full moon and the party is tonight.
As the sun goes down Tim and Angie roar off down the road. The full moon
is rising out of the hills and the night is still and warm. A perfect summer
day.
The expressway turns into country road. Angie is holding on tight to Tim
and Tim is concentrating on dodging the potholes. The bike has spluttered a few
times but never stopped. After about an hour they reach the turnoff. It’s a
dirt road and although there are no street lights the full moon is glowing
brightly and the road is clear. Not far down the road they come across a small
bridge across a dry creek bed. In the creek is a car that has missed the
corner. A close inspection shows that the driver has survived and has left and
is probably already partying at the shearing shed. Tim and Angie power off up
the bush track until in the distance they can see fireworks. Sky rockets explode
into the air as they arrive to see hundreds of people standing around looking
into the sky at the spectacle. There are cars parked everywhere and in the
distance they make out the lights of the main house and the huge bonfire.
There is a confusion of things happening and Angie holds on tight to Tim
as they get off the bike. Just then a car goes roaring past them down to the
sandy banks of the dam. There are mobs of people there and one of the cars has
its doors open with music blaring out. The old and bashed up car revs up its
motor until its about to blow up. Then the driver drops its clutch and the car
starts wheel spinning and the burnout comp begins. Dust and sand fly up wildly
into the sky and blocks out the full moon. The spectators scream and yell.
There is a huge bang as the motor blows up and the car comes to a stop.
Angie turns around and spews her heart out. Tim holds her and asks what
is wrong.
"Did you eat something bad" asks a worried Tim " Was it
the bike ride"
"Its ok, I’m ok now" says the tiny voice of Angie " I’m
ok now"
Just then a blond young lady appears out of the dark.
She takes hold of Angie and comforts her. "you must be wrecked from
the bike ride along our dirt track"
"Is that Non Bent" says Tim, " Angie, this is my cousin
Non"
" she will look after you" he says " She looks after the
whole world"
The two girls disappear into the darkness and head for the main house.
Tim turns around to see the next car in the burn out comp move to the
dam edge. Fireworks are still exploding in the sky and the thumping beat of the
next song is filling the air.
Tim gets a glimpse of the next driver. Its Hansome Lee Bent, the ekky
dealer. He’s in a dark green Datsun 1600 that looks very lowered, very old, and
very powerful. Everyone cheers as he revs up the engine and drops the clutch.
The car spins in circles spraying sand over everyone. It heads for the dam wall
and goes spinning wildly along the edge of the water. Before you know it, it’s
crazily spinning wheels take it down the wall and straight into the water. The
crowd goes wild and ‘Handsome’ gets out the car window and swims to the edge.
"Hey Hansome" Tim calls out " come over here and talk to
me"
A wet Hansome drags himself out of the water, struggles to take off his
wet T shirt and and feels in his pockets for all his things.
"Whatsup Tim" he yells " I've still got the pills.
They're not wet. They were in a baggie"
"do you want one. They're Superman ones" says Hansome as he
warmly hugs Tim.
"I'll just have a half thanks" says Tim, "I'm looking for
my Dad."
"He's up at the shearing shed helping the DJs set up the lights. Just
head for the music."
Tim is excited. His father is here.
"I knew he would be here," thinks Tim, " at last I
can talk to him about my life and he can talk to Angie and maybe help
her".
In the distance, Tim sees the flashing lights and hears the music of one
of the DJs.
Tim races towards the shearing shed, tripping over tree roots, splashing
through creeks and not stopping to say hello to all the people he passes.
He enters the shed and is overcome by the flashing strobe lights and the
pulsating music. In the darkness he sees a group of people sharing a bong. A
couple in the other dark corner are kissing. Tim moves through the crowd of
dancers until he can see the Dj.
The Dj is busy looking through his collection for the next lot of tunes.
but he looks up to see Tim coming and welcomes him like a long lost friend.
"Hi Dj Bent" says Tim, hardly hearing himself talk over the
beat of the loud music, "have you seen my dad?"
"He got really stoned on grass and ekkies and whisky and said the
edge was way too close here and left saying he had to find Tim before it was
too late." Says Dj." The full moon was too powerful for him."
Non Bent and Angie meet up with a sad faced Tim as he leaves the
shearing shed and heads for the main house.
"Angie", Tim says," I couldn't find my Dad. He's gone to
find me again."
"Tim", Angie says in a tiny little voice," I'm pregnant".
